Open evening at Mansfield and Sutton Astronomical Society
Skygazing is coming back into focus as the nights get darker and Mansfield and Sutton Astronomical Society is holding a public open day on Saturday October 4.
A 20 minute talk on an astronomical subject is followed by a chance to peer into outer space through the large observatory telescope.
The observatory is on Coxmoor Road adjacent to the Coxmoor Golf Course Gates open at 6.45 p.m.
Entrance £5 adults / £1 under 16s.
