Workers at the site are fearful for their long-term futures after Rolls-Royce sold it to ITP Aero this week.

This has led to calls from unions and local councillors for Rolls-Royce to guarantee the long-term future of the site as part of a condition of sale.
Mr Spencer, however, said he had spoken to ITP Aero and he says they are optimistic for the future.
He said: “I am aware of the transfer of the Hucknall site from Rolls Royce to ITP Aero.

"I remain in close contact with the management of both Rolls Royce and ITP Aero.
"Should any of my constituents be concerned about this, I ask them to get in touch with my office, who will be more than happy to raise their concerns with ITP management and Rolls-Royce.”
