cloud nine]]></title>

				     		     	<description><![CDATA[<!--PSTYLE=WINT Web Intro--><p>IT&#8217;S now odds-on that Legion Poppies will pocket another HUCKNALL LADIES DARTS LEAGUE title after extending their 100% record this season to nine matches.</p><!--PSTYLE=WBDY Web Bodytext--><p>Poppies, who have dropped only 14 legs all season, head the table by four points from George Street and Foreign Legion.</p><p>They have also reached the semi-finals of the league&#8217;s Knockout Cup after defeating Royal British Legion 4-2 in the last eight.</p><p>Poppies are joined in the semis by Foreign Legion, who beat Masons Arms 4-1, Station Hotel (Hucknall) B, who knocked out bottom-of-the-table Empire 4-1, and George Street, who defeated Harrier 4-2.</p><p>On the individual front, the maximum 180s have been flowing this season, with the first coming from Sara Nuttall, of George Street. She was followed by Pauline Elkington, of Poppies, and Sheila Lowe for Foreign Legion.</p><p>The highest finish of the campaign so far has been thrown by George Street&#8217;s Sherrell Binch, who produced 104 in a match against Royal British Legion.</p><p/>]]></description>

	     	<title><![CDATA[POOL: Muppets steal the show]]></title>

				     		     	<description><![CDATA[<!--PSTYLE=WINT Web Intro--><p>DEADLY debutants Empire Muppets have joined unbeaten Royal British Legion A at the top of the HUCKNALL EPA POOL LEAGUE.</p><!--PSTYLE=WBDY Web Bodytext--><p>Legion A, who were without a fixture, have two games in hand. But the Muppets now boast the same number of points after beating Yew Tree 5-3, with the help of a Joe Etherington singles/pairs double.</p><p>Also making inroads into Legion A&#8217;s lead were Empire A, who won 7-1 at lowly Chequers Inn A. Captain Tony Dobb rounded off the rout after earlier successes from Robbie Roylance, Mick Fowkes, Steve Wood, Geoff Taylor and the pairing of Dave Wainwright and Craig Johnstone.</p><p>Still in fourth place are last year&#8217;s champions, Spot-On Low-C, who beat Harrier 6-2 thanks to victories from Ryan Norris, Colin Draycott, Ben Sansom, Dave Carroll and the pairings of Sansom and Tim Hudson and Norris and Dean Brittain.</p><p>The week&#8217;s other three matches resulted in wins for Station Hotel (Hucknall) B, Chequers Inn B and Green Dragon.</p><p>Station B continued their climb up the table with a stirring fightback from 3-0 down to triumph 5-3 at Sherwood Ranger. Paddy McShane, Andrea Green, Roger Green, Scott Oxford and the partnership of Green and Oxford did the damage.</p><p>Chequers B eased to a 6-2 success at Royal British Legion B, with Shane Wood and Steve Nicholls among their victors.</p><p>And Dragon held on to a 5-3 victory at home to Bestwood Village Social Club after taking five of the opening six legs.</p><p><strong>EMPIRE A&#8217;S Geoff Taylor heads the league&#8217;s individual rankings table with 107 points &#8212; ten clear of three players on 97, Shane Wood (Chequers B) and Empire teammates Robbie Roylance and Steve Wood.</strong>   </p>]]></description>
