The Money Shop

HUCKNALL residents in need of some quick cash can now access the services of a pawnbroker.

THE MONEY SHOP (pictured) has opened a new store in the town at 72 High Street to meet the demands of its customers.

Not only does The Money Shop offer secured loans against items such as jewellery and gold it also offers other financial services and products.

So if you find yourself in need of a cash injection due to a temporary money shortage but don’t want to sell family heirlooms, you now have the option of pawning them and retrieving them at a later date when you have some extra pounds in your pocket.

“I’m really excited about heading up the three-strong team at the new Money Shop pawnbroker store,” said manager Kirstee Hampton. “This will help build consumer awareness of the Money Shop brand.

“As well as being a member of the National Pawnbroking Association, our new Money Shop pawnbroker store is part of the largest network of pawnbrokers in Europe, guaranteeing customers a professional and efficient service.

“In addition to pawnbroking, the other services we will offer in store will include payday loans, ‘Gold to Cash’, foreign exchange, cheque cashing, pre-paid cards and Western Union money transfers.”

The Money Shop opened its first store in Nottingham in 1996 and now employs over 1,500 people and is part of the American company, Dollar Financial.
