Good morning on Friday, April 3. We’ll be bringing you all the latest updates on the coronavirus outbreak from Derbyshire and the UK.

NHS England confirmed on Thursday, April 2 that a further four people who tested positive for Covid-19 have died in Chesterfield Royal Hospital.

Across the country, there are now 33,718 confirmed cases and 2,921 people have died. The number of cases globally also passed the 1,000,000 mark.

The number of confirmed positive cases in Derbyshire stands at 342.
