A PICTURE of happiness in Hucknall is that of identical triplets Libby, Abby and Kacey Broome.
For 13 months on from their miracle birth, the threesome are living a healthy, happy and somewhat exciting life.

The cute trio, who were born within three minutes of each other, are now little celebrities in their home town.

Proud parents Emily Pritchett and Andy Broome say they are regularly stopped in the street by people wishing to catch a glimpse of the tots – and add that they could not be happier.

Emily (25) said: "They are amazing. We feel very lucky to have three beautiful, happy baby girls because you hear stories of some people not being able to have children at all or of babies with diseases.

"We are very happy but I don't think we will be having any more children now!

"It has been hard work, although it has been a good year.

"Physically, it has been easy but mentally, it can be quite tough. We cannot do simple things like jump in the car and go to the shops as easily as we used to."

The couple's house is a picture-perfect family-scene as the triplets crawl around playing with their older brothers, Tyler-Jay (four) and Kieran (three).

Dad Andy (27) adds: "We are still in shock really. But they are amazing little girls and they are no trouble.

"They each have their own personalities. Libby is the smiley, well-behaved one who is happy to go off on her own without her sisters. Abby is the bossy one who will always want something one of the others has got. While Kacey is the more cautious and serious one of the three.

"It is fantastic to watch them interact with each other. They will help each other out if something needs doing, so they can be quite crafty in that respect.

"They will also team up to push things out of the way or use each other's backs to climb and reach things."

Emily and Andy say it is easy to tell the difference between the three – unless they all have stern looks on their faces!

"Their smiles and different expressions mean we can tell them apart," said Emily, who also revealed that the girls will get a special surprise when they are old enough to walk.

"Andy and myself have just got engaged but we are holding off our big day until the triplets are able to walk down the aisle as bridesmaids!" she said.

"At the moment, they are just trying to get to their feet with the help of the sofa."

So what does big brother Tyler-Jay think of his sisters?......... "I love them!" he cried, despite their liking for stealing his and Kieran's toys!
