Disabled man in knife-attack
A DISABLED Hucknall man has been the victim of a vicious knife-attack.
The 42-year-old victim, who does not want to be identified, was slashed on the arm in a robbery by two youths.
The man, who claims he was also kicked in the throat, needed treatment at King's Mill Hospital, Sutton-in-Ashfield.
He says he was walking with a stick to a chemist's shop in the Watnall Road area when he was set on by the two white youths at about 1.30 pm last Friday (July 11). He was robbed of a watch and other belongings.
The victim was accompanied by his 20-year-old son, who was forced to the ground.
"It happened without any warning," says the man. "It has made me frightened to go out any more."
