Auction to help teen on Thai charity mission

A FUNDRAISING event is to be held at Hucknall’s Watnall Road Baptist Church for a Papplewick girl who will take part in a project aimed at stopping girls being sold as sex slaves.

A silent auction will take place on Thursday November 29 from 6.30 pm to 8 pm to support Holly Jemmett-Allen (18), pictured, of Linby Lane.

She has been chosen for three months’ training as a team member by the Youth With A Mission (YWAM) organisation either in Thailand or Papua New Guinea.
