Have your say

Hucknall Carnivals in the 1930s were something everyone enjoyed.

There was a Carnival Queen and a processional parade around the town with floats, which could be horse and carts or vehicles, from local businesses or groups. This particular picture shows Mrs Hoggard as ‘Old Mother Hubbard’ and the original card was loaned for copying by Mr Greenhalgh. Does anyone remember these occasions?
