Rufus Hound headlines in One Man, Two Guvnors at Theatre Royal
ACTOR, stand-up comedian and presenter Rufus Hound will lead the cast in Nicholas Hytner’s award-winning production of One Man, Two Guvnors, which opens at Nottingham’s Theatre Royal on Tuesday.
In this hit comedy, which is brought to Nottingham by the National Theatre, Rufus Hound plays Francis Henshall, who has been fired from his skiffle band.
He becomes minder to Roscoe Crabbe, a small-time East End hoodlum now living in Brighton, to collect £6,000 from his fiancée’s dad.
But Roscoe is really his sister Rachel posing as her own dead brother, who’s been killed by her boyfriend Stanley Stubbers - and all this leads to Francis hatching a devilish plan.
The show runs until 2nd February and tickets are priced from £14. For details visit www.trch.co.uk.
