DESPERATE Hucknall Town face a mammoth, pivotal clash with Redditch United that boss Bryan Chambers insists is a "must-win game".
The Reds visit Watnall Road on Tuesday night (February 24) and Chambers went as far as to say his side will probably be relegated if they lose.

After their 1-0 defeat at Gateshead, Town are marooned five points from safety at the bottom of the Blue Square North.

But a win against Redditch would drag them to within three points of the visitors. It could even lift The Yellows off the bottom of the table if other results go their way.

Chambers said: "It is a must-win game. No ifs or buts about it, we need to win. If we get beaten, we could be down. If we win, I think we will stay up.

"And I think we will beat Redditch. I was pleased with the way the lads reacted against Gateshead. We looked more like our old selves after our terrible performance at Hyde United."

Most of the bottom six are in action on Tuesday, with Town arguably having the easiest match.

Next-to-bottom Blyth Spartans are away at Fleetwood Town, whose home form has took them to mid-table, Burscough entertain play-off chasing Alfreton Town and Solihull Moors are away to Vauxhall Motors.

Chambers will be forced to make at least one change to his starting line-up because midfielder Paul Mitchell is working away.

Dion Meikle is out with a hamstring pull, while ex-Scunthorpe United midfielder Justin Walker is not match-fit. The 33-year-old was expected to have signed last week but Chambers is holding off until Walker sharpens up.

Meanwhile Reuben Wiggins-Thomas is set to become Town's latest recruit and is expected be in the squad against Redditch.

Wiggins-Thomas (20) can play central midfield or wide right and arrives for his second spell at Watnall Road.

He was signed by ex-Yellows boss Andy Legg in the summer of 2007. But Legg's replacement, David Lloyd, was not a fan and loaned him to Gainsborough Trinity in the October.

The former Chesterfield man did not return to Watnall Road and sealed a switch to Halesowen Town the following month.

He made 12 appearances (plus six as substitute) for The Yellows and scored one goal – ironically against Redditch.

Wiggins-Thomas was last with Bradford Park Avenue in the Unibond League, Premier Division.

Redditch boss Gary Whild will be without frontman Jordan Smith, who has a shoulder injury. Captain Chris Dickinson is also a doubt with a knee injury.
