£514 cost of tram travel (without a ticket)

A Hucknall man faces a bill of £514 after he was caught without a £2.20 tram ticket.

Stuart Paul Burrows, 25, of Brookfield Avenue, was found guilty of the offence on April 23 when he was travelling between the Royal Centre in Nottingham and Hucknall.

He was fined £220, ordered to pay compensation of £2.20, a victim surcharge of £22, costs of £120 and a criminal courts charge of £150.
