Man wanted over attack on pensioner

POLICE want to speak to this man in connection with a serious attack on a 65-year-old man in Annesley Woodhouse.
The victim had intervened in a scuffle between two men at a bus stop near a church on Forest Street at around 11.05 pm on Saturday May 16.

During the melee, the victim ended up on the ground and suffered a broken leg.

A police spokesman said: "At this stage, it is not clear how the victim suffered his injury. We want to speak to the man in the image as he may have information that could assist our investigation."

The man or anyone who recognises him is asked to call Det Con Paul Lefford at Mansfield South CID on 01623 420999, extension 3132.
