A NEW loyalty card has been launched that offers the incentive of free entry to the grounds of the Dispatch’s premier tourist attraction, Newstead Abbey.
The move has come from Nottingham City Council, which owns and maintains the ancestral home of the poet Lord Byron — as well as 136 parks, gardens and historic venues.
The ’Nottingham Parks and Open Spaces Loyalty Card’ will be stamped every time a visitor pays for a car entry at the abbey.
For every four stamps, the cardholder will be eligible for one free car entry at the abbey.
The card can be collected at Newstead Abbey or any other sites that come under the control of the council, including Colwick and Woodthorpe parks in Nottingham, Nottingham Castle and Wollaton Hall.
