Armed robbery at Hucknall off-license

Police are looking to trace a masked man following an armed robbery at a Hucknall off-license earlier this week.

Officers were called just after 9pm on Monday evening (12 January 2015) after the man entered the Booze Busters store in Nabbs Lane, Hucknall carrying a kitchen knife.

He escaped with a quantity of cash and cigarettes after threatening staff at the store, who were left shaken by the ordeal.

Police are looking to speak to any witnesses as they try to trace the man wanted in connection with the robbery, who is described as around 5ft 10ins tall and of thin build. He was wearing gloves, had covered his face with a black scarf and spoke with a local accent.
