A TREE was blown down as high winds wreaked havoc at Bestwood Country Park last week.
The medium-sized tree fell on the horse trail at the park, which is one of the Dispatch district’s most popular visitor-attractions.
Fortunately it happened overnight and no-one was injured. The park remained open for business.
Winds reaching speeds of more than 45mph hit the Dispatch district and the rest of Nottinghamshire last week. There were many reports of branches and trees in the road.
