Yeoman Hill Park was a hive of activity recently with more than 1,000 people coming along to enjoy the Mansfield Big Lunch event.
Visitors enjoyed an array of activities from a charity football match and a martial arts demonstrations at the event, which was organised by the Halifax.
Coun Kate Allsop attended on behalf of the mayor and judged the “Bake Off”.
She said: “It was a tough job but someone had to eat a huge amount of cake.”

The Halifax provided free food and drink for the day and used the bake off to raise money for charity.
