POLICE want to speak to a motorist after a 13-year-old boy suffered a broken ankle in a collision with a car in Bulwell on Wednesday evening (January 18).
The accident involved a dark-coloured small car at 6.50 as the teenager was walking along Highbury Road, outside the Co-op store between the junctions of Deptford Crescent and Latimer Close.
The driver is reported to have parked up following the collision to ask if the boy was okay but left without leaving his details.
Police would now like this man to contact them.
The motorist is described as a black man of medium build and aged between 35 and 40. He was wearing dark trousers and dress shoes.
The teenager was taken to Queen’s Medical Centre, Nottingham, where he remains in a stable condition.
