POLICE are hunting a robber who stole cash from a man in a mugging attack on a Hucknall street on Monday (January 9).
A 32-year-old Indian man was approached by the robber, a white man believed to be aged between 16 and 23, on High Leys Road at about 5.20 pm.
He demanded the man hand over money, and he made off with a quantity of cash.
The victim was not injured but was left shaken by the attack.
The offender is described by poklice as about 5’8” tall. with short brown hair and a very spotty complexion.
Police believe two people seen near to where the mugging happened might have vital information about the robbery.
They are a black man, who is believed to be aged between 16 and 23, about 6’ tall, with shoulder-length hair in plaits, and a younger white girl, about 4’6” tall, with long brown hair.
Detectives are appealing to them to come forward to help with their inquiries.
Officers would like to speak to anyone who saw any suspicious activity in the High Leys Road or Watnall Road area on the day of the robbery.
