BREAKING NEWS: Stab threat to teenage boy

A MAN threatened to stab a teenage boy during an attempted robbery in Hucknall.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the attack, which happened between 11.10 am and 11.30 am on Sunday January 29. The victim was just 14 years old.

The victim was walking along Bestwood Road when he was approached by the man, who was riding a bike and threatened to stab the boy if he did not hand over his mobile phone.

The teenager did not see a knife and ran away from the offender unharmed. Nothing was stolen.

The suspect is described as white, with a pale complexion, between 18 and 25 years old, between 5’10” and 6’1” tall and of average build.

He was wearing a black ,shiny hooded coat, black tracksuit bottoms and was riding a yellow and black BMX.

The offender was seen riding off in the direction of Bulwell.
