A Bulwell engineering firm hopes to recruit new staff thanks to a £1.7 million investment programme.
Hucknall Sheet Metal Engineering, which is based at Phoenix Park, has launched a new venture called Microjet Precision Services, which will produce tiny, precision-engineered components.
The firm’s investment includes a £245,000 grant from N’Tech, the Nottingham Technology Grant Fund, which will pay for new high-tech water cutting machines. The firm plans to recruit another 11 staff over the next 18 months, who will be trained to operate the new machines.
