A HUCKNALL employer will be joining forces with Nottinghamshire County Council to provide expert advice to people looking for a new job this new year.
Experts from some of the county’s top companies will be taking to Twitter to provide daily tips to jobseekers.
The tweets will cover a wide range of job seeking subjects, from getting work experience and filling out application forms to interview techniques and showing the right attitude. Some of the tweets will be specific to certain industries.
One of the experts is Amanda Pearce-Burton, of Formation Training & Development, Hucknall, which offers a range of services around skill development, including delivering training for people in presentation skills, communication, problem solving and making career changes.
Amanda and fellow director Barbara Pearce have recruited a wide range of staff at different levels as well as freelance consultants from across the country.
The tips will appear on Nottinghamshire County Council’s twitter feed, @NottsCC which has more than 7,500 followers. All the tweets will include the hashtag #JobTip. For those not on Twitter, they can also be accessed via the County Council’s website, www.nottinghamshire.gov.uk
