RESIDENTS of Hucknall again get the chance to chat with their local bobbies on the beat during open-air police ‘surgeries’ throughout April.
The first is is Tuesday April 10 (10 am to 11 am) at Hucknall’s Tesco Extra superstore, off Ashgate Road.
Hucknall Leisure Centre, on Linby Road, hosts a ‘surgery’ on Thursday April 19 (10 am to 11 am) before attention switches to Hucknall Market Place on Saturday April 21 (11 am to 12.30 pm).
Holgate Comprehensive School on Nabbs Lane is the next venue on Wednesday April 25 (8 am to 9 am) before two ‘surgeries’ — at Seymour Road Baptist Church (9.30 am to 10.30 am) and Minerva Grove (6 pm to 7 pm) — on Thursday April 26.
The final one of the month is on High Leys Road, near Annie Holgate Junior School, on Friday April 27 (6 pm to 7 pm).
‘Surgeries’ offer a chance for residents to meet up with the officers who patrol the streets in their particular ward.
Everything from crime concerns to praise for the police can be discussed.
