AN exhilarating ‘Pudsey Party’ was held at Hucknall’s Butlers Hill And Broomhill SureStart Children’s Centre to support the BBC’s Children In Need appeal.

About 20 families took part in the one-and-a-half hour event at the centre’s normal toddler session last Friday.

Community development worker Michelle Squires said: “There were lots of activities for everybody to join in with.

“These included decorating biscuits and cakes, mask making, craft activities and lots more fun.

“We also tried to cover a giant Pudsey with coins, so we were very grateful to people who brought lots of pennies or pounds to help youngsters most in need of the money.”

The total forthcoming from the ‘Pudsey Party’ will be announced later.
