YOUNG people in Hucknall and Bulwell are being encouraged to get themselves tested for the sexually-transmitted infection (STI) chlamydia.
Free and confidential testing is available for chlamydia, which is the most common STI.
One in ten young people in the Dispatch district is infected every year. More than one in five young people were tested for the infection last year.
Free tests are available with local doctors, through the Contraception and Sexual Health (CASH) service or at the genito-urinary medicine clinic at Nottingham City Hospital.
If undiagnosed, chlamydia can cause infertility.
