COURT: Fined £600 for dropping cigarette

A LITTER lout from Bulwell has been fined £600 for discarding a cigarette end in her home town.

Amanda Inger (29), of Hoefield Crescent, committed the offence at the corner of Pilkington Street and Commercial Road on Tuesday October 4 last year.

The Bench at Nottingham Magistrates Court found Inger guilty in her absence.

As well as the fine, magistrates ordered her to pay £226 in costs and a £15 victim surcharge.

Inger was charged and prosecuted as part of a long-running crackdown on littering run by Nottingham City Council.
