A 76-year-old woman was cut free from her car after a collision with a lorry on a major Nottinghamshire road this morning (March 13).
Emergency services were called to the A614 in Ollerton after reports of the incident at around 9.30am.
Firefighters from Edwinstowe, Warsop, and a specialist team from Tuxford were called to the scene.
A service spokesman said a 76-year-old woman had to be removed from the vehicle, and an 84-year-old man was also released by the crews.
Both casualties were taken to hospital in an ambulance.
A police spokesman said the injuries are not believed to be serious.
The road was left closed off for some time whilst the scene was cleared up but it now open.
