Firefighters were called to a blaze in an Ashfield car factory which broke out in the early hours of this morning (Saturday, 20th June).

Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue was called to the scene shortly before 6am after magnesium caught fire, a spokesman said.

Crews evacuated all staff from the building in Orchard Way, Sutton.

Firefighters from Ashfield and Mansfield fire stations attended.
