A 32-year-old man arrested after a woman was sexually assaulted in a Mansfield park has been released without charge.
He was arrested after police attended the recreation ground at Racecourse Park at around 9pm on Saturday, 28th September, following reports of the assault.
The female victim was approached and then assaulted by a man at the Eakring Road end of the park, a police spokesman said.
The area remained cordoned off until after midday today (Monday, 30th September) while forensic investigations were carried out.
