SPECSAVERS in Hucknall is helping to spread the message to parents to get their children’s eyesight checked.
In a local initiative, staff from the High Street store visited Butlers Hill and Broomhill SureStart Centre during ‘Dads’ Day’ to raise awareness of the importance of having eye tests for youngsters.
“We took along lots of fun activities to get the families involved,” explained Janet Archer, community co-ordinator at Specsavers. “These included an optical illusion game, ‘Where’s Wally?’ books and paint your own glasses, donated by Wilkinson.”
