Distinctive bikes stolen from Bulwell home

People are being asked to keep an eye out for three disctinctive bikes that have been stolen from an address in Bulwell.

The bikes were being stored in a garage in Cooper’s Close when they were taken between 7.30pm on Monday 8th July and about 7am on Tuesday July 9th.

One of the bicycles is a black and white custom-built Felt AR4 with Shimano wheels and white handlebars.

The second is a Boardman road bike in grey and the third is a red and white Aggressor road bike.

Acting Detective Sergeant Claire Fowler said: “It is likely that the person or people who stole these bikes will be looking to sell them on. We are asking people to be keep their eyes open and contact us if they think they might have seen them or if they know more about the theft.”

Police said that in order to reduce chances of becoming a victim to this type of theft, people should ensure garages and sheds are secure and that bikes are always locked up using heavy duty bike chains.

Anyone who saw something or has any information about the bikes should call A/DS Fowler on 101 ext 803 4338. Alternatively, call Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
