A NIGHTMARE was narrowly avoided during a Hallowe’en disco organised by the Fun Factor group in Hucknall.

For a mix-up left the event without a DJ at Hucknall Town Football Club’s Talk Of The Town social club.

Thankfully, a replacement answered an SOS call and abandoned a shopping trip to come to the aid of the group, which specialises in fundraising to organise events for local youngsters.

Once the music started, almost 100 revellers of all ages enjoyed their Hallowe’en fun.

Special prizes were handed out for the best fancy-dress costumes.

One of the most eyecatching outfits was sported by a six-month old girl, Mia Foster, who was bandaged up as a mummy!
