Dog show and rally to help Hounds

DON’T miss the chance to have a great day out and help support two canine charities at a dog show near Hucknall on Sunday (July 22).

The Midland Counties GSD and All Breeds Training Club is holding a rally and novelty dog show hosted by the Warren Fields Dog Training Academy.

The event is to be held at the Warren Fields Riding Club Showground, which is situated on the A611 bypass between Hucknall and Annesley — just before the turn-off to Newstead Village.

“We are hoping the event will be well supported as the more people who come the more money we will raise in aid of Hounds for Heroes and German Shepherd Welfare,” said organiser Sarah Pykett.

“There are plenty of classes to enter including our novelty show for the cutest puppy, most handsome dog and even a fancy dress contest.”

There will also be a selection of refreshments and stalls as well as dog displays to keep visitors entertained.
