Bulwell’s Strelley House was ‘for educating children’

This picture from the past shows Strelley House , Strelley Street , Bulwell around the 1920s. According to ‘Nottinghamshire History’ Strelley House, was “built in the Parish of Bulwell in the County of Nottingham by George Strelley, late of Hemshill, for the educating and teaching young children of the Inhabitants of the said Parish”.
