NOT many people would fancy throwing themselves out of a plane — even if it meantg raising money for charity.

But that’s exactly how one brave estate agent from Hucknall spent his weekend.

Matt Copley was one of eight Haart estate agents from across Nottinghamshire who raised a staggering total of £3,300.

The group, who work at the company’s four branches in the county, completed a daring parachute-jump from Langar Airfield, near Bingham, in aid of the Magic Moments charity.

Launched in 1998, Magic Moments provides funding for children’s hospices throughout the UK. To date, Haart staff have helped raise more than £600,000.

Commented Matt, branch manager for Haart in Hucknall: “Although we were all a bit apprehensive beforehand, once we were up in the air, the nerves just disappeared. Everyone landed safely and some even wanted to go up again!”
