BEAMING great-great grandmother Mavis Cashman, of Hucknall, is all smiles in the company of the newest addition to her family, Kensley-Rae Fell.

Little Kensley-Rae’s arrival on WednesdayApril 13 this year was cause for extra special celebrations as now there are five generations of Mavis’s family all living in the Hucknall area.

It meant the age gap between the oldest and youngest members of the family grew to 81 years.

Great-great grandmother Mavis (81), of Ruffs Drive, said she loved spending time with five-star Kensley-Rae.

“She is lovely — I can’t get enough of her. She is so jolly — a very happy little girl.

“Not only did we have five generations of the family together in one room, but they were all girls.

“I think that must be a first for Hucknall.”

Kathryn O’Reilly (59) is Mavis’s daughter and Kensley-Rae’s great grandmother.

“Kensley-Rae is great and my mum was over the moon to meet her,” said Kathryn.

“We have had lots of reasons to celebrate in recent years. We had a party for my mum, who was 80 last year, this year we had Kensley-Rae’s arrival and next year I am 60.”
