BULWELL residents will be able to have a free lifestyle check while they do their shopping tomorrow (Saturday) — thanks to a scheme launched by the British Heart Foundation (BHF).
For the first time, the BHF’s Heart Health Roadshow (HHR) is visiting towns, city centres and supermarket car parks across the East Midlands.
The roadshow offers lifestyle checks in a bid to help people understand how they can lead a healthier life.
The team includes a cardiac nurse and a dietician, who are on hand to offer support and guidance on a range of topics from healthy eating to weight management.
The roadshow will be at Morrisons, on Bulwell’s Leen Drive from 10 am until 4 pm.
Visitors to the HHR vehicle will use touch screens to answer a simple lifestyle questionnaire, then chat to a friendly staff member and be asked to come up with three health goals.
