Representatives from a children’s charity attended the Lammas Leisure Centre in Sutton to collect more than 100 selection boxes donated by generous Chad readers from Mansfield and Ashfield to help bring some festive cheer to poorly youngsters.

PASIC — the Parents Association for Seriously Ill Children — asked Chad readers to buy an extra Christmas selection box when they did their own festive shopping, to be handed out at a special party set to take place on January 5th. ““As a small charity it’s such a huge help to receive donations from our local communities,” Sam said.
