A group of doctors’ wives from around Mansfield and Ashfield were ‘in the pink’ to raise money for cancer charity Macmillan.

Around 40 ladies descended on the home of Paddy Sivan (pictured front right) in North Park, Berry Hill, on Friday to raise cash for Macmillan’s World’s Biggest Coffee Morning.

A total of £1,045 was raised at the event, which included a charity auction with prizes donated by a range of local businesses, including The Mint Restaurant, Complexions Beauty Salon, Brown’s, Modhu Mitha Indian Restaurant and stylist Zareen Khan.

Leela Cheedella, Parul Desai, and Renu Bhojwani also helped organise the event.

“We couldn’t have done this without the kind and generous donations from everyone who attended and many local businesses,” Paddy told Chad.
