‘AY CARAMBA!’ was the cry as staff dressed up as Mexicans to launch a new menu at the William Peverel pub in Bulwell.
Staff at the Wetherspoon boozer on Main Street donned sombreros, moustaches and ponchos for the day as part of the stunt.
A new dish on the menu for the summer is a Mexican burger, packed with guacamole and jalapeno peppers.
But the whole menu has been given an overhaul. To mark the launch, staff set up a gazebo outside the William Peverel and offered shoppers a taste of some of the dishes.
The event was organised by Stacey Evans, of the bar staff, in a bid to inject a bit of fun to mark the launch of the new menu.
Another worker, Hannah Williams, said: “Everyone seemed to enter into the spirit and have fun. The new food also went down a treat.”
