Dispatch district bikers are being invited to get rid of their old locks as part of a campaign led by Nottinghamshire Police.

The police have teamed up with TravelRight for its Swap a Lock campaign and bike owners are being urged to take advantage of the free scheme.

Chief Insp Steve Cartwright said: “The Swap a Lock campaign is a free and easy way for you to reduce the risk of your ride being stolen so you don’t get saddled with a long walk home.”

You can swap your lock between 12pm and 2pm on Monday 7th July Eastwood Market Day, Wellington Place, NG16 3LQ.
