Residents of the Hucknall area are invited along to a fund-raising coffee morning.
The Nabbs Lane Pharmacy, at 63 Nabbs Lane, is hosting the event as part of the Macmillan World’s Biggest Coffee Morning.
The event takes place on Friday 27th September from 9.30am.
There will be tea, coffee and lots of homemade cakes.
Co-organiser Cheryl Cresswell said: “With the number of customers we have, we know a lot of people whose lives have been affected by cancer.
“We’re a small independent community pharmacy and this is one way of helping.
“We’d like to raise as much money as possible so we would like to invite people to come along and enjoy cake, coffee a chinwag and our beautiful smiles.”
Macmillan says that the coffee morning event it is its biggest fund-raising of the year.
In 2012, 115,000 people signed up, raising a record £15 million of funds for the charity. People wanting to know about the charity should visit coffee.macmillan.org.uk
