Youngsters are being asked to get creative and come up with some superhero spec designs for a Hucknall shop-based competition.

Specsavers, based on High Street, is running the contest during half-term, from Monday 25th to Sunday 31st May, as part of their excitement over a new range of children’s glasses.

The most creative design will win a three-month pass to the Oceans of Fun play centre and any child taking part will receive a 2 for 1 voucher for entry to the centre.

The store will also host a superhero day on Friday 29th May, with lots of activities and giveaways, including a toy tombola.

Janet Archer, director of Specsavers Hucknall, says: ‘We’re hoping to have lots of fun during half term and are looking forward to seeing lots of designs of specs fit for a superhero! Our new range is fantastic and we hope the new characters will help children feel excited about choosing new specs.’
