A HUCKNALL man has been jailed for growing cannabis at a house in Derbyshire.
Steven Ford (pictured), of St John’s Crescent, pleaded guilty to producing a Class B drug and extracting electricity.
The 30 year-old was sentenced by a judge at Nottingham Crown Court to 22 months behind bars.
It was after police attended a house on Alissa Avenue, Ripley, in September 2011 after a fire was reported in an upstairs bedroom, that a number of cannabis plants were discovered.
