Kirkby singer Lucy Kay defies Twitter trolls
Lucy (25), is through to the final of the ITV’s Britain’s Got Talent on Saturday after wowing judges with a performance of Nella Fantasia during the show’s semi-finals.
But the former member of Mansfield’s Cantamus choir has told Chad how she has been the victim of some nasty comments via social networking site Twitter since her appearance on the show.

Hide AdLucy, who studies at Glasgow Music College, is determined to use the hate messages to her advantage by giving a knockout performance on the ultimate night.
“There have been comments not only about my voice but the way I look on stage,” she said. “But I am fighting back now because I will not get into a war of words, but I am getting stronger.
“These people are the reason I am still singing and am on TV and I am happy with my appearance.
“When I first read the comments I felt like I did when I was bullied at school but so many people have messaged me with support, which has got me through it.
