TIME is running out for Dispatch-district residents to have their say on cost-cutting plans put forward by Notts County Council.
The consultation closes on Friday January 27 with the council due to finalise its budget next month as it bids to save more than £80 million in the coming years.
There have so far been 3,815 responses to the process but there is still time for locals in Hucknall to get involved.
Coun Reg Adair (Con), the county council’s lead member for finance and property, said: “We are pleased by the level of feedback on the budget consultation but people who haven’t put forward their comments still have until the end of this month.
“You can either fill out a form online or in January’s edition of ‘County News’, phone or fill in a comment card available in all libraries (including Hucknall’s on Market Place).”
