Bin fires trigger arson probe
FIREFIGHTERS were called to two rubbish-bin fires within the space of seven minutes on the Hempshill Vale Estate in Bulwell in the early hours of Wednesday (March 18).
The first fire, at 2.06 am on Armstrong Road, spread to a nearby parked car.
The second fire, at 2.13 am on Cernan Court, spread to a shed and a fence.
They were extinguished within half an hour but police suspect arson and have launched an investigation.
