BREAKING NEWS: Car stolen at knifepoint
A HUNT has been launched for two men who carjacked a woman at knifepoint outside a Bulwell supermarket.
The attackers approached the victim at 7.50 pm on Thursday January 19 outside the new Tesco Extra store on Jennison Street.
The woman was in a blue BMW Z3 two-seater sports car.
The men threatened her with a knife and forced her to get out of the car.
The woman was uninjured but left shaken by the ordeal.
Investigating office recovered the vehicle more than a week later on on Friday January 27.
It has been abandoned on St Stephen’s Road, Sneinton, after colliding with a number of parked vehicles. The BMW was also severely damaged.
Two black men were seen running away from the car in the direction of Sneinton Hermitage.
Anyone who witnessed the robbery or saw the car being abandoned is asked to contact DC Anna Haynes at Radford Road police station on the force’s non-emergency number 101 (extension 802 4588).
