Bunches of floral Christmas cards

SANTA Claus came early for three lucky children at Newstead Primary School when they won a Christmas card competition.

The entries were judged by Bunches, the floristry company of Newstead, and therefore the challenge was to design a card with a floral theme.

Outright winner was Charlotte Cook (11), who designed a card picturing a traditional festive stable scene decked out in flowers. Charlotte was presented with a big bunch of flowers as her prize.

Chloe Jackson (nine) and Megan Green (seven) were the runners-up and they were presented with chocolates for their efforts.
