Fashion graduate’s designs stolen

HUCKNALL fashion student Hope Cashman is appealing for help after some of her prized designs were stolen from her car.

The former New College Nottingham (ncn) student, who graduated this summer, was hit by the break-in on Tuesday September 11.

“I had men’s suits and a dress taken,” said Hope.

“They are really important to me as I need them for my future career.

“I want to appeal for their safe return as they are invaluable to me, but not worth much to whoever stole them.”

One of Hope’s lecturers at ncn was shocked to hear what happened when contacted by the Dispatch this week.

“Hope put an awful lot of hard work and thought into creating her designs,” said fashion lecturer, Esme Thomson. “I’m very very shocked and saddened by what’s happened to her.”
